Cuban rowers at the gates of the semifinal- TV Yumuri

With a time of 6:38.64 minutes, the pair of rowers Carlos Andriel Ajete and Boris Luis Guerra was at the gates of the semifinals at the 2022 Racice World Rowing Championship, in the Czech Republic.

The best times prevailed in the Croatian binomial (6:21.49), the Moldovan (6:23.25) and the Italian (6:23.67) who qualified in the heat.

Ángel Luis García, president of the Cuban Rowing Federation, told HIT that Carlos and Boris rowed well, but this time they did not achieve the objective of being among the semifinalists. They have to keep competing, because they have at least two races left.”

Ajete-Guerra and Venegas-Cobas continue the preparation -competing- for the Central American and Caribbean Games in San Salvador and Pan American Games in Santiago de Chile to be held in 2023.
