A earthquake of preliminary magnitude 6.9 it was felt this morning in Mexico City; the epicenter was recorded in Coalcoman, Michoacan, according to the National Seismological.
The head of the Government of Mexico City, claudia sheinbaumreported that at the moment there are no registered damages in the country’s capital, after the overflight of the group of condors.

Meanwhile, the government of Michoacán, through state Civil Protection, reported that the different regions of the state are already being monitored after the earthquake.
Through social networks, the Secretary of the Government of Michoacán explained that the tremor was perceptible throughout the state and requested extreme precautions from the population.

The National Guard added that tours began in different states to address possible damage.
Meanwhile, Indira Vizcaíno, Governor of Colima, reported that civil protection protocols were initiated after the magnitude 6.5 earthquake in Michoacán. So far, she explained, no damage has been reported.

AICM and CFE activate protocols due to earthquake
Minutes after the earthquake that shook several cities in the country, the Federal Electricity Commission and the Mexico City International Airport activated their security protocols and infrastructure review.
