This statement by the governor of Puebla comes within the framework of the report of neighbors, who gave notice of a new landslide in the Juan C. Bonilla mega sinkhole. In this regard, Ana Lucía Hill Mayoral, head of the Secretary of the Interior of the state, indicated that it could have been caused by the rains.

“It was raining for more than two hours in the area of ​​the sinkhole, at night-early morning a significant noise was heard and, apparently, there was a detachment (…) Overflights are being made with the Civil Protection drone.”

Could a new megasink be generated?

According to the authorities, there are no indications that the new sinkholes registered in Puebla are of danger and with the possibility of being as great as that of Juan C. Bonilla.
