The Colombian Civil Defense assured that the climatic conditions have made it difficult to search for the bodies in the Salto del Tequendama.
The search and rescue efforts for the bodies, which have been carried out since the morning of this Wednesday, September 21, at Salto del Tequendama, after the fall of a vehicle, were recently suspended and will resume on Thursday, September 22.

Although the vehicle Red Aveo, 2012 model with plates RMW778, was recovered by Colombian Civil Defense and the Cundinamarca firefighters, the Captain Álvaro Farfán, Fire Department delegate indicated that at the end of the afternoon they still had not found bodies in the area where the vehicle fell.
“So far, the recovery of the vehicle at Salto del Tequendama and the search for the occupant continues. The climatic conditions in the area have made it difficult for lifeguards to access it,” the Civil Defense said on its Twitter account.

The car would be occupied by Gerardo Seguraowner of a local restaurant, who, according to his family, suffered from a serious depression picture and a woman who was accompanying, who has not yet been identified.
According to the lieutenant Jairo Murcia, commander of the Traffic and Transport Police of Soachacould be one of the employees of the Segura restaurant, as it has not been located by the staff of the establishment.
The causes of the accident are still under investigation, the hypotheses suggest that it could have been a double suicide, one homicide in which the alleged murderer also decided to take his own life or from a loss of consciousness or micro-sleep on the part of the driver.
