The harsh US response to Vladimir Putin’s nuclear threat

Vladimir Putin escalated the conflict over Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. After the announcement that will deploy 300,000 reservists and the threat of the use of nuclear weaponsthe international community quickly came out to criticize the Russian president.

“We will use all means at our disposal to protect Ukraine and to our people”, pointed out the head of NATO, to later add: “And I am saying ‘all means’, this is not a bluff”.

Who also echoed the Russian president’s statements was Volodimir Zelenski himself. He categorically pointed out: “I don’t think Putin will use these weaponsI don’t think the world will let you use them.”

Putin made these warnings in a televised message with a veiled reference to Russia’s nuclear capability after criticizing NATO countries for supplying weapons to Ukraine, after almost seven months of war and in the face of the latest losses of Kremlin forces on the battlefield.

“I would like to remind those who make these types of statements that our country also owns various means of destructionsome of which are more modern than those of the NATO countries”, declared the Russian president in a threatening tone.
